I took the 748 in for an MOT at 8.30 and it sailed through as I knew it would. Very slippery out this morning and didnt enjoy the ride at all. I much prefer my monster. Anyhow as from next weekend when I will tax it I will at least be able to go on the run to Southend.

I know what you mean about it being slippy out there. A couple of times on the way home the bike has slipped out slightly on me - bit of a wake up on an otherwise boring ride but good fun at the same time as long as it doesn't go any further!

I've got Dunlop Sportmax on the SV650s - much prefer the Diablo on the Monster.

Don't know what you mean about it being slippery ? I took a Triumph Sprint ST 1050 for a test today as was blitzing all over the place with no problems.

Yes but I bet you had a softer ride. Its rock hard the 748. Nah admitted I was riding like a wuss and didnt really want to go out on it. Not sure if I will keep it much longer. I think I would rather spend the cash on the monster.

What did you think of the Triumph then ??
