Is there such a thing as a bigger tank for my beloved s4rs? A cracking bike with awesome handling but a thimble for a tank..... Help please.

I have the same problem but haven't been able to find a real solution.
Alternatives :

1) Get a brand new tank made with slightly larger dimensions, especially the underside of the tank where the airbox is. If you have an open box there's loads of space you could use to give you more volume. Someone like this, http://www.thetankshop.com/
Or for the plastic tanks find a company willing to cut the plastic underside and reweld with a different shaped bottom. I haven't had much luck trying to find anyone to do this.
I guess it's a matter of finding a little engineering company that fancies giving it a go.

2) Carry a jerry can.
3) Carry a water bottle used for hiking.

If you have any luck with No.1. there are lots that would be interested I'm sure.

indeed, me too. The KTM takes £17 when it's empty. The Monster takes £12 by the time the fuel light has been on for a while.

I'd thought that too, even on the less thirsty dues. A 150 - 200 mile tank range would be nice. I did think about playing with a tank, splitting it and then setting in a strip around it to raise the height and capacity by a bit but the shapes were a bit painful.
If the exhasts were high level and not routed under the motor then a tank and pump in a belly pan would work, but that'd be too much effort.

I bought one of these:-

Just gives enough to allow for a bit more breathing space when on longer runs. Fits easily in Oxford or Ventura luggage.
Its got me out of the mire a number of times when out and about!!

I wish they did one of those that was half the size, but held the same amount, Dr Who style.

T A Baker won't make tanks for injected bikes but John at the Tank Shop will- he is making some parts for the Guzzi cafe racer I am building.

His work is beautiful but be prepared for a very long wait.
