. . . in case anybody's interested!
Not a monster this year I'm afraid, thought I'd give the SS a try.

Looks nice. Better colour than gilp's jcb paint. Almost an Agostini. Swap the black for white and a bit of green.:chuckle: :chuckle:
Very nice line on the exhausts angle.

that looks lovely, but are you double jointed? The bars look a bit low for my aged body :chuckle:

Looks great, very purposeful.
Did you have any problem with clearance with the low bars and the clocks or are there no clocks now?

Thanks everbody.
The bars aren't THAT low, Harris clipons just under the yoke, it feels quite comfortable actually!
And yes, well spotted, that is indeed a late sprocket cover on an early engine, I'm on the lookout for an early one!
No problems with clearance on the "clocks" such as they are . . . .

My brother recently finished the rebuild of his 750SS and I took it out for a spin and I have to admit I loved the feel and ride of it, it felt so stable and responsive.
Maybe, hmmmmm....

The entire fuel cap assembly has to come out. There are some small grub screws holding the collar in. A tip - keep a close eye on the black rubber seal around the top and which way it fits. Many people, including me, get it the wrong way round when refitting.
