Hi All

My mate has a 95 M plate 900 Monster and the Regulator/Rectifier is f***ed. He was going to buy an Electrex replacement but they have asked him whether it is single or three phase. Anyone know off hand? I know he can count the wires on it but apparently it's garaged round his dad's some distance away.

Your help appreciated!

James

PS any other ideas? Electrex unit is £65/£85 depending on single or three phase. The one on his bike now was bought off ebay for about £35 to replace the original, but that turned out to be bolloxed too. Caveat emptor and all that, eh?

Should be a single phase on an early bike

Hello,

All monster registered between 93-pre 98 are using single phase wiring harness direct link to the alternator/ generator.

A good recommendation is to buy the rectifier from www.motorcycleproducts.co.uk . The model of the rectifier is SH673-12..

Hope this will helps
