Hello all. I was having a little look over my M900 this evening and decided the clutch springs were looking rather sorry for themselves (i have an open clutch cover). I have seen the nice shiny clutch spring, bolt and facia kits and was wondering how hard they are to fit. I have some mechanical knowledge and a nice tool kit. Is home replacement of the springs and bolts a DIY job, or best left to the experts?

Thanks for any info you can provide. Also, who can suppliy these parts at a resonable price?

Regards

Mark

Clutch springs rate about a 1 out of 10 on the mechanical difficulty scale

1. Take the clutch cover off

2. Undo the bolts that retain the springs

3. Take off springs, throw in bin

4. Put new springs on posts

5. Do up bolts WARNING - DONT DO THEM UP VERY TIGHT, YOU'LL SNAP THE POST. THE SPRINGS WILL STOP THEM COMING UNDONE

6. Replace clutch cover

7. Stand back, smile, drink Beer

Thanks!
I was hoping it would be as easy as it looks. That said, knowing my recent luck with my MultiStrada, i'll end up doing a mischief somewhere along the line.
