How about we resurrect this?

Anyone want to volunteer some words and pics about themselves and their bike?

Come on, don't be shy..

Also, the news articles. I see that the last one was the Philip Island 1-2 in the MotoGP. Alot has happened since then that couldve been put in there. even if it was taken straight off the Ducati website.

ive been doing this for a while on a forum that i run, and put their bike at the top of the page (in this sites case where ukmoc is) . it seems to work well with the members. have been in talks with a couple of magazines to clinch a deal where the winners each month get a free mag subscription, or some free-bees (tee-shirts, key rings etc.) in return for some free advertising

Point taken and noted - I think our webby guy who looks after this has knackered his back and not been available much

I'll have a go if you like. I'm busy this morning, but could throw a few words together later if you like?

I'd have to clean the bike properly and I'm too busy riding it for that :)

Wouldnt it be easier to make a gallery space better and bigger and easier to use and just pick one from that?

I'd be up for this once I get her back on the road.

Ped - I think this is a really good idea, I think many of us go the 'the org' and view there's as a source of inspiration and it's about time us brits pulled our finger out.
I'd be happy to put mine up there in a couple of months time when i've sorted a few bits....otherwise right now I'd love a good write up on Eanon's amazing monster, Simons show winner, JMO's, maybe some blasts from the past - StuartG's?, PD's etc - lets really get this going!

Why don't you find someone else. Its not as if web site maintenance requires manual effiort.

I think their time is free. Would we get someone else who is as capable (and this site runs brilliantly 99.9% of the time) to do the same? I don't think so.

Free when available, kinda hard to plan around that.

Any other provider is unlikely to be a long term member of the UKMOC however. As Nonnie points out Stu does a fine job almost all the time, what happened to loyalty? out of the window with a slightly cheaper mobile phone contract?
