I have a Datatool fitted to my bike. But it doesnt work and I dont have an immobilizer. What are the chances of it just turning on? Can I remove it? Is it a big job? :dunce:

If it's not come on already it probably won't, they usually either auto armed a minute or few after the ignition was switched off or by a remote fob thingy.
As for getting it off all the wires from it will be black so you just follow each to it's end then have to stick the original coloured ends back together again. Biggest problem will be that the wires in bike looms are never very long to start with so some bits might need little extensions.
do good joints, soldered would be best with a bit of heat shrink sleeve over them.
As long as you have a wiring diagram of what it should be like it shouldn't be too difficult.

Oh BTW Fancy a scoot down to the Bristol Italian Festival? I'm probably going down with a mate from Cheltenham, give me a PM nearer the date and I'll let you know where you can hook up with Jane and me.
