Hi guys,

I need your valued advice please. I am after a 2001 S4 Senna with 19k miles and a few "extras" - what is guestimate market value? Minimum value?

Cheers, and much appreciated.

Thanks Albie, that's sort of what I was thinking. It does have Termi's and an Ohlins rear shock. Mmmmm. Decisions, decisions.

Make sure a few things with that mileage. It isnt high at all but make sure it has a service history and will be due another belt change soon I would have thought. Make sure it also has the RED key .Do not buy without one

Albie,

Yep, it has the red key. Belts changed/and shims @ 16k. On its 2nd owner.

I'm happy with the bike and owner, just not sure about a realistic value - I want it but dont want to pay too much!!

Cheers

Rich

Agree with Albie and figure that a trade sale would be around the £3K mark for this, private should be less.
Start negotiations around 26??

Get it for as little as you can. They dont sell as easy as aircooled .

Well, its done:biggrin:

Some of you have probably seen it on ebay. It has Termi's (plus oe's), Ohlins, Rizoma clip ons (they'll be replaced with std items (or higher) if anyones interested), power commander, alarm, etc. I got it for £2,600 so about right? Not the bargain I was hoping for but still a good price.

Some of the blue will have to go! Hopefully I can remove the paint and go back to carbon quite easily?! The hugger and front mudguard will definitely go back to cf. I am quite a sucker for std bikes so I may take it all the way back to std eventually.

Thanks for all the advice, now I can post loads of questions!!!

When you said it was a senna it should have been grey and flourescent orange/red. Its a bit blue. Im sure you will restore it well. A good price I guess as its got nice bits on.

Thanks guys, yeah, I'm already learning. It took me a while to realise that "Senna" was just the colour scheme!

Albie, I totally agree, its a bit blue for my taste and the "extras" are what swung it for me.

Nice one Rich, post a few pics on IB mate ;)

Gave mine it's first serious clean at the weekend: pressure wash with marine clean, bit of clay and a bit of Zymol, came up a treat! MOT next week, might do the fork seals first though.
