Referring to 2 wheel publications before you start confessing! A friend of mine who is an IAM instructor, pointed me in the direction of 'Motorcycle Sport & Leisure' which he recommends highly. I must confess I had not seen it before but it has been around for years apparently. Looks good. It has a nice blend of modern & classic & seems to avoid the puerile element of some publications. Which mag do you enjoy or recommend?

MCN, keeps me up to date on new models, news and I like drooling over the bike mart section.

I dont buy any of the glossy mags, theyre too expensive and only ever seem to feature R1/GSXR/999/1098/ZXR/CBR.

When I am at Ducati Aylesbury I grab MCM, always some good articles in there.

We get a copy of MCM in our teabar at work.
I am an avid reader of Superbike Magazine, and I have been since I started out in the biking world. I feel that the guys at Superbike Magazine do some good honest journalism, but keep the fun involved.

I avoid Fast Bikes like the plague, as I feel its the chavvy, Max Power of the biking world. All they seem to care about is how well a bike wheelies and stoppies, how much they can get their knee down on the local roundabout, and general thuggish immature behaviour that seems to get up the noses of other roadusers, and the legislation wielding Govt.

Ride, TWO and Bike usually seem quite useful as they are a bit more like the average biker

My missus bought me a subscription to Ride for the year, and I'll pick up Bike now and again if I've run out of reading material (I spend a lot of time travelling, airports, trains, taxis, so having something to read is a must)!

MCN, Bike, TWO, and MSL regularly - sometimes Ride, PB, Superbike, Fastbikes.

I spend far too much money on bike mags!

MCN is mostly rubbish, but I still buy it every week, it's become a habit. Ride is OK sometimes but pretty dull; PB is pretty dire also.

Superbike and Fastbike are little boys comics - I only buy these if I have run out of stuff to read and I'm desperate!

Bike is the only quality motorcycle magazine out of all of them and it's been this way since the 70's.

None of them on a regular basis, they are too expensive.
Only if I am going to an airport or something will I buy a mag.
Usually TWO or MSL.

Desmo.

Nothing that comes out of the Emap empire! Hate them!! Fed up with Gatso weekly, Gatso monthly and how many adverts can we fit on opposite pages monthly!

End of rant!

TWO—‚used to get it free as we used to publish it.
Bike—easily the best.
MCN—good, once you get past the doom and gloom.
Classic Bike—I have a couple of old Triumphs and 30 years of issues.
Ride—mainly for reviews of gear.

Hmm spend far too much. Probably could’ve bought another bike by now,
