Thanks

Used a route 9 tail tidy for the mod could do with some better indicators though as the standards are a little bulky

You might wanna bend your numberplate up a bit more. Nearer 45 degrees would be better for clearance. Otherwise it may get twatted by back tyre on bumps and ripped off - just like my one did ooops!

Neat job BTW but smaller flashers would look better IMO

Looking good mate, well done! :) I had to go the whole hog and get rid of the indicators too, went for ClearSolutions integrated LED indicators which are pretty snazzy.

What you got planned next?

Mini indicators... I've seen some that in day light you can barely tell whether there on or not so whats the best type to buy?

As for whats next, paint the belly pan and then ive acquired some twin clocks with the rev counter so get those fitted, thats it for now. Not sure what else I can do?:fou:

Neil,

what tail chop did you use? was it a JMo Tail-chop kit? ive mailed markus as well to see what he used and really need some opinions, the thing im most concerned about is being able to revert it back to standard should i ever wanna part ex my bike, is that even possible to do or is it non reversable?

also what about indicators and stuff, this is going to be a pain in the arse isnt it...... bloody hell, if my mate neil (geeman)hadnt just done it i wouldnt be bothered,,,,,,,:twak:

LOL Damon!! The clue is in the word chop...
Errr if you CHOP your hand off today could you refit it next year? The tail chop hacks off a chunk of frame so is a bit permanent.
Having said that I would think a session with the mig and a bit of post weld grinding would reinstate the tea tray if needed.

Kellermans are the best I've had. Not the cheapest but good quality.

Have a look at this mini carbon tea-tray.......
http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/showthread.php?p=227895#post227895
Comes highly recommended!!

As for the indicators, bin them all together and fit one of the integrated tail-light/indicator LED jobs. Looks the dogs, without the dangly bits!!

If you know someone with access to a lathe then simple joiny-up-bits can be made to refit the end of the sub-frame you chop off. I did it on the S4R. A couple of small bolts and it was all back to original!!

H'mmm, joiny-up bits eh? a man after my own technical ability by the sounds of it, thats just what i need though, in fact i reckon geeman could help me out there, what a stroke of luck:biggrin:

like the mini tray tho, i still think if im gonna spend more money on the rear it will be on the led rear light and possibly the worlds first reversable tailchop....obviously with lots n lots of help.

This is the tail chop i done last year.I got it from competition werkes, and was fairly easy to convert.I think it took 30 mins to do!!

I put some slim LED indicators on,but they looked pants as they needed to protrude further.Does anyone know of some fitted that look ok?

I have a de-cat pipe ready to fit,and also high flow air filter, but does anybody know whether there needs to be adjustment by changing these from factory fit?..I bought a power commander, but have heard some people have nothing but trouble with them, and others wouldn't say anything against them,so i guess i should suck it and see!! hahaaha
