The weather was fine, bit cold and breezy. Just been out in the morning, took the other half for her first pillion ride following her birthday and Christmas presents (Lid and fitted Wolf leather jacket).
As we got back I decided today was the day to do the deed. Armed with the JMo kit, my tools and a cup of tea I set about work:

Have to say I'm very happy with the result. One of the first thins I thought when I decided on a Monster was 'That plastic bit on the back looks rubbish'. The paint needs touching up, had primer but no Ducati red.
Many thanks to Jenny, instructions were bob on. I'm by no means a mechanic, I'd class myself as mechanically able if that, and I just rent an empty garage with no much in the way of a workshop (yet). Money well spent!
On a side note, the Monster really isn't a pillion friendly bike is it!? Was a great ride and didn't take me long to get used to the new behaviour of the bike, but she was pretty uncomfortable perched up there.
So, what's next?! Anyone got some tips for those side panels, would like something to replace the 695... oh and of course I've saving my pennies for some loud slip ons!
