Ducati gave a management presentation yesterday and spoke about their plans to launch a total of 10 new bikes from 2008 to 2010.

That already includes the Monster 696, the 848 and the 1098R but leaves the door open for 3 new bikes, or updates, for 2009, and then 4 new bikes, or updates for 2010.

Roll on the Ducati Pan European....

when they've used up all the testastretta engines, they'll be putting the 1098 in a monster type.

Let's hope it's not 696 stylee tho :)

Hopefully the S*R replacement will be based around 1100ds and 1098 engines. Wouldn't see an 848 as a great step up from the current S4R(S)

Suppose they could have an S2r1100 S4r 848 and s4rs 1098 but given the competition, mv etc, are now offering over 1 litre and 130bhp I reckon/hope it'll be 1098 based.

You know it will be though, but by then they'll at least be a whole bunch of optional extras to bring the Monster back to where it should be.
And I bet that 1098 engine's bloody nice.
