For some reason my account appears to have been deleted, i couldn't log on and my email address wasn't being recognised.
I signed up for a new account, same user name, same password, same email address and it working fine although my post count has gone to zero.
If i search for all my old posts is just shows N/A under the user name.
Most odd.

Thanks for the tip off on this - exactly the same thing happened to me - except the last time I'd posted was a couple of weeks before Xmas 2007 - so hardly 12 months ago - more like 3 weeks!

LOL! This is supposed to be pruning, not purging :D

Removing people who haven't posted or even logged in for ages is right tho.

Yes Miles, my last one was just before xmas 07 as well. Maybe they misread the year and though it was 06?

So the pruned members haven't come back yet and now i notice that i'm no longer registered as well!

I think this could be more than a pruning issue, & perhaps an on-going problem with the UKMOC database? I'm sure someone will be along (complete with IT style anorak) to explain in more detail ;)

I believe around the same time as the pruning exercise, the database went tits up, causing profile corruption, one symptom being an inability to recieve PMs and the

Posts n/a

issue. The admins tried restoring the db, but that didn't have the desired effect. I would guess that members exhibiting Posts n/a are screwed for all time.

I'll put my anorak away now Gary :D

Ahhh... please don't - I'm really digging the wooden toggles, fur lined hood & orange quilted lining :hail:

A file that links details and members has been corrupted and can't be restored.

The best solution at present is to re-register I'm afraid

I blame it on the coffee that I poured onto the keyboard - :on: :on: :on: anyway - good to see you back Rockhopper and sorry for any inconvenience your deletion caused! If only the same could happen to my overdraught..

Thank you! I did re register, i thought it was odd that allowed me to do so with all the same details as last time. I'm not worried about my post count either.

Thanks for understanding - hope to catch up with you in person at some stage too - are you coming to the weekender??
