Okey Dokey then folks,

the opportunity for fame and glory has presented itself! Just had an email from Emma at Ride Magazine who is planning an article about the Monster, in particular the personal customisation that owners undertake.

She's looking for candidates to have their bikes photographed/featured and is looking for some nice examples showing what we spend our moolah on. She did say that the photographer would come to the bike rather than having to drag your pride and joy out in the snotty weather,

So suggestions / volunteers please! If you could email (collinsp2@hotmail.com) me a snap shot I'll forward them on for review

Parrot - you up for this?

So who else?

I have a rather attractive non matching foot rest - ally and the rest is titanuim anodised! Other than that Frank is of course still gorgeous - and here's to bling as well as other forms of monstrous adoration!!!!

I'd be up for it. But mine's pretty standard, apart from the full system, slipper clutch, cover, mirrors, rearsets, rad covers and seat.

Yup, Shauns is better.

When they say they'll travel to the bike does that mean up to 30 miles from the office in Peterborough?
Otherwise I could volunteer too.:spin:

I fink so too :D - and its still used for a daily commute, whatever the weather.
Didnt realise that its been on the road just about 4 years now (mid Jan 2004 - remember fire-up day at the stables GT? ;) )

Ped - drop us a PM if interested - we also have the 2 or 3 race monsters too - so have been very customised.

Regret mine only has shed load of bolt on stuff :gay:

Do the bikes in question have to be at the extreme edge of customisation?
There are always one or two bikes of any make/model that someone takes more than a tail chop too. Or is it just the fact that there are possibly only 1% of monsters that are still in original trim. Why not all send in pictures and the best could be a full page collage in the mag?

I may well be up for it Ped. Just let me know.

That would neccesitate the use of a sponge and hot soapy water Gilps - is it really worth it..? lol !!!

Any more takers? I want to email pics to Ride Friday afternoon.

I've suggested to Emma at Ride that perhaps one bike is a feature bike and others would be given a mention/pic too to get as many in the article as possible.

Hey Ped, if you hear of anyone from 'Farmyard Machine Monthly' doing an article on semi-customised ditch-pumps, let me know mate, as I've got a working one that specialises at clearing vast amounts of effluent. Ta!:)

Which is pretty handy - as your arse produces effluent like a fire hose :freak:
