*****SOLD*****

Read on.....

We are selling our Class B DD bike, which would also make someone a very sorted trackday bike too:

2001 Monster 600, with a 1998 583 engine - dynoed last year in April 2007 at 52.something horsepower.
You'll be able to see 2007 results from Paul Martin #39 (Bones) in the spread sheet Tonio600 has done in the DSC DD section.

Overall 3rd in 2007 championship.

She comes complete - in the spec she raced in 2007:
Full 916 fairings,
R6 rear seat,
Rear Ohlins (cost about £500 now)
Modified loop arm (for adjustable ride height),
Front forks (late type with big hollow spindle - same as 620's use)
DP rev counter,
Modified race loom (all useless bits off it, like lighting etc),
Gel battery
MHP exhaust (cost about £500)
900ss clip-ons
Race rearsets
Tyres fitted for last round of DD in 2007, so plenty there for early TD's and possibly first meeting.

All ready to go - the only thing we'd ask, is that the colour is changed from the orange - unless you want it without the fairings, but the front fairing brace will stay. (we’d like to keep the fairings if possible)

We have V5 for her - and she is on a SORN.

Photos available if required, but can be seen on the 2008 DD calendar in the month of May
Can possibly deliver

£2000, ready to race now:)

If interested please phone Alan on 07956 351399

I'm real sad to see the bike up for sake Charlotte, but I can understand where you are coming from. I'll miss seeing Bones around the paddock, he's a real nice guy.

If anyone is looking for a really well prepped race bike then I don't think you'll get better than this. AK knows his stuff when it comes to getting a bike set up.

I'll say now Charlotte and Alan are good friends of mine.

I've seen the way Alan, a proper qualified mechanic of many years with experience in many forms of racing (not a fitter calling himself a mechanic) has developed and maintained this machine.

This bike has been worked on, developed and sorted extensively to levels that no other machine apart from their 620 has.

Any DD racer will confirm that CK & AK set the standard that other teams aspire to.

If you are thinking of going DD racing, and you should, its a very friendly, fun series with unheard of, at its level, support and opportunities (British novices do not get to race at Assen) then this bike is the one to buy.

You wont find a better 583. Anywhere. Its the most sorted out there.

But I haven't that much to spend. :grump:

Well I don't think it's overpriced. That is as well a developed machine as you'll find anywhere in that paddock, and I would not hesitate to jump on it and race it without even giving it a look over. You won't find a better one.

Really really sorry to hear this news CK and AK, the paddock will be a much much poorer place without you. A sad day.
