just ordered a new speed triple (I may get a boo or two for this!), keeping the S4 also so still a Ducati owner, thought it would nice to buy British for a change!

Never ridden one, but is one beast of a bike to look at.

Considered buying one but realised it was way too powerful for my 1st big bike. Hope you get to enjoy her properly when the roads improve.

:thumbsup: Nice bike :D It would be a close decision between an S4Rs and the Speed Triple for a new bike in the Loon workshop.....

Wouldn't be able to fit it in though...

If you bought a T509 Triple I wouldve boo'd you, I owned one and it was an awful bike but the new 1050 is a lovely bike, looks great goes even better, I was very torn between the 1050 or the Z1000 but chose the Zed as the Triple was a bit tall for me, in hindsight the Triumph was the much better bike. Enjoy it loads!!! :biggrin:

t509 had the 885cc motor,which wasnt a great engine,the 955 engine is a belter,i should know i have one:woot: :woot:

I used to have the T509 and thought it was an absoluty fantastic bike, a little top heavy but with brilliant looks and an awasome sound with after an market can fitted. the best speed triple until the latest model which looks the dogs danglies. I could easily be tempted by one..must have a plumbing fetish:woot:

I'd have been tempted by one but being so short it was a no no, and I would have had to fight Clive off it, although I think he prefers the Street Triple but they are hard to get hold of apparantly.
