Looking at Renthal "flat" bars. Will these fit on the standard yoke? Can anyone recommend any other good makes, to replace the naf OEM item

The S4R came with Magura bars as standard. They are conical 29mm in the middle, tapering down to 22 at the ends. I imagine the S4Rs will be the same.

I dropped my bike and bent the bars so went for some black Rizoma's. Got them from Stu at Spareshack.

Flat bars might be a little low, will put more weight on your wrists.

The renthal 'FAT' bars are made for MX applications, I bought one only to discover that the 7/8 end bit was not long enough to fit the controls, as MX bike do not have switchgear.

I just received a set from desmoworld in germany and they are long enough to fit the controls and switchgear.

The biggest problem with fitting Renthals is the width of the center section before the rise.

If you've pulled the forks up through the yokes then they will hit the bottom of the handlebars.

I got round this on mine by putting spacers under the handlebar mounts.

The standard bars have a narrow center section.

Renthal 'road ulta-low' will just fit as replacement for the 620.
