Just don't give them to the girlfriend or you really will be single for New Years! My ex hubby is my ex partly because of his crap pressies when he remembered to buy anything, sexy undies turned into a tall pine kitchen stool that I couldn't reach to get on, jewellry turned into a mantle clock, clothes turned into a copy of an oil painting. Those were the only things I can remember him buying me in 7 years! The stupid thing was he is a talented artist and I would have been happy if he'd framed one of his own paintings for me. Instead he used to destroy them before he'd finished them. HE didn't learn either his next partner left him for the same reasons I did!
