Well it is in my house and all my birthdays :D I had my Termis and De cat pipe fitted and collected bike yesterday in the pouring rain. Then got stuck coming back cos a tree had blocked the road, and had to do some green laning so now the bike is filthy! Life is never simple for Scrumpster. Anyway apart from now being in bed with a stinking cold it sounds like music to my ears, just have to take the baffles out. Woo hoo :yoparty:

Ahhhh that was all the 2 days to go stuff then eh?

I remember when I got the termis. I thought my house was going to collapse.

I feel like my bu** is gonna shake off, will it have the same affect as one of those exercise machines that you stand on with a huge elastic band wrapped around your arse??

Baffles, Nah, never heard of them. They're obviously not meant to be there else we'd all have them!! :D

Nice one happy whatever! Got to be noisy though so get those baffles out. Your bum isn't big either, one has to have feminine curves or what's the point!

Hopefully dual 21" screens should be able to cope, I can always seperate them a bit get a bit more width if it's really needed :chuckle:

Secure a duster with rubber bands over the end of a normal household hammer and gently tap in an upward, downward and sideways fashion the offending baffle, should eventually loosen and pull out. This method worked on my XT660X.

But be careful- the carbon fibre sleeves are fairly delicate and if you hit the cans too hard they will break.
I'd suggest popping over to Snells and asking them to do it.

when i got the baffles out of my Zards, i let the bike run for a few mins to warm up and (i presume) let the metal of the exhaust 'innards' expand a bit. i then used a pair of needle nosed pliers and wiggle the baffles about untill they came free.

Removable baffles are sometimes held in by a large circlip, so make sure this is removed before you try to get them out? Older termi baffles (if fitted) are usually held in by an allen bolt through the end cap.
