Engine/Gearbox Oil

This is going to sound daft but are the engine and gearbox oil serpeate? Checked the oil on m600 and through 1 of the viewing lenses lots of nice oil and the other is alot less?

Should be none at all in the other one! The one on the left hand crankcase is a viewing window to see the flywheel marks to set the ignition timing, and shouldn't have oil visable. The engine and gearbox oil is combined and the level viewed through the right hand crankcase window.

Ah right ok, thats clears thigs up last time ask my mate to have a look at it, just have to get it started now

And remember the level goes down when the bike is running...............:booze:

There should be oil in the near side window, but only when the engine is running.
