M600 '98 haynes manual

Does anyone know if the manual for the 2 valve engine which says 91-96 (the only one in Halfords) will be ok for a 98 bike, were there any major changes in 97/98 and why does the book not cover newer bikes?

That'll be the old version, cos my Haynes says 91 to 05, for 600, 620, 750 and 900. Bought it new from Amazon for around £14 a couple of months ago, (ISBN 1 84425 277 9), and was so impressed that I put a thread on this very forum.

I got that one from Halfords but paid £19.99! It's been great for my 96 monnie. I guess there must be a proper workshop manual for every model too. I know when Clive was doing the max he needed the Haynes and workshop manual because they differed but between them you can do just about everything.
