If I can help I will gather the peeps to take them down to the seaside for sandcastles next Saturday.
Not knowing who or how many and where from , I am presuming most from london bound so may we meet either M20 ish or M2 ish and head down to thanet either A2 or A20 the long way around.

Im guessing around 10 ish.

Any comments or ideas please say :D

Say where we should meet, Oakdene? and a time. I will endeavour to arrive on time.
Elenor is wanting to come at the mention of ice-cream and mini doughnuts.
(Who mentioned mini doughnuts though?).:p

See you Saturday in the sunshine.

It's the annual Kent run to Broadstairs - South East coast. Bit of a hike from Staffordshire TBH... more of an over nighter in fact? Anyway I've edited Albie's original thread title to avoid any confusion.

Cheers for kicking it off BTW Albie ;)

Hoping to join you if the monster's back on the road and it's not being nasty weather! If not you'll have to forgive for being on something else! What time are you hoping to be in Braodstairs?

I would be happy to lead peeps thru the kent country side and down to broadstairs, prob best if i meet you on the A20 at charing and then find some nice roads. maybe join coast near Faversham, along thru Whitstable, Herne bay, a short hop on thanet way and thru Margate and along coast to Broadstairs. stopping along the way for a break and drinks ect. just an idea or happy to go with the flow..:D

Hey Scrapps - that sounds like a good idea - thing is I'm on leave on Friday and hoping to be away overnight so I'm not exactly sure where I'll be! (not the most helpful state to be in but hey - if the weather's been good I could be anywhere!!!)

For me I think it would be best to meet in Braodstairs but hope others take you up on the kind offer of a happy bimble!!!

See you by the sea all being well (i.e. NO MORE RAIN!!!)

The word seafood has had a profound effect and has made me want to eat my body wieght in the shelled doodahs I love so much!!!!! What time do you reckon you'll all be in Whitstable then and I could try and catch you there!

Nice to meet you Stu. Patinthehat was there also, but just enough time for the ride. Benson arrived after and met us by the harbour wall. Lovely F&C then icecreams.:yoparty:

Lovely weather for watching the sea and taking in the Kent coastline though a bit blustery for riding on the motorway.

No sandcastles this year as the tide was high and the water was breaking over the harbour wall by the time we where leaving. Another time.
