Guys,
probably a no-brainer, but:
How does one replace an HT Lead. Is there a need to disconnect battery, remove coil etc. My brother (a mechanic) tells me it will probably just 'unscrew', and I can screw in the new. Is this the case...

Cheers, and excuse my ignorance :fou:

I'd like to know this too, but for a M620Sie, anyone know where to get leads from, pre-cut?

To replace the HT lead, most of the time they just unscrew.
You dont really need to disconnect the battery, just make sure the ignition is off. Its never a bad idea to isolate the battery tho when doing any electrics.
Any good quality motor factor or motorcycle shop with a pro-active sales man should be able to help you out with replacements.

Not sure about the 600, but 620ie ones unscrew.

Darry, you may want to try changing the caps too. You'll want non-resistor type ones since the plugs have an 'R' in the code.
