Ride to Assen GP

I am going to the Assen GP next year (I hope! It better not interfere with the weekender 08) and i was wondering if anybody has made this trip on their monnie. I am going to be coming in at St Malo as its the only port i can take the bike to, but any info on your experiences would be extremely helpful. The other option i had was to fly to Amsterdam, train it up to Assen then come back to Dam....theres a nice little town there......very colourful...!

Maybe flying would be a better idea?

I made the trip to Assen this year on my Monster. I did go through Harwich/Hook though but was a good run up there, still took about 3 hours mind you.

Am tempted to go next year too it was that good.

Yeah i think we would have a looooong ride in front of us if we do it. We have decided to change from our usual Le Mans trip and do something different
