10w/30?

Planning to change oil this weekend and got Castrol fully synth. 10W/30 as Halfords were out of 10/40. Will this be alright? Not sure what the difference between the 2 grades is.

No definitely not a good idea, 10-30 w is to light , Ducatis run hot this oil could damage your engine better alternative would be a 10-50 Especially in an S4 you risk damage to the rockers with this oil, take it back and wait till u can get something else , dont they have mobile 1, that will be fine.
