I've got a 2000 M900 and currently have the original exhaust system. I would like to spice the exhaust note up a bit and change the look (was thinking maybe 916 style or 2 into 1 underseat!) and also to have removable baffle for ease of MOT etc. I would also like to replace the down pipes as they are a bit rusty. Any ideas of a decent place to go to get a good custom set up?:look:

I've been recommended Mark at MHP. He's in Surrey and works on a number of race Monsters. I haven't used him yet, but plan to as soon as I can get down there.

Baffles or not, you won't get a legal custom exhaust.
Having established that, Mark Hill at MHP comes well recommended.

Underseat exhausts are tricky on a monster, there isn't a lot of room between the rear underseat frame rails and the top of the wheel when under compression. Not saying it can't be done, but it isn't straightforward. You'll need to plan it fairly carefully.

Downpipes - they're actually made of low grade stainless steel, and will polish up nicely with a bit of effort.

Don't buy knew pipes, mine of the M600 were rusty as hell but we took them off and sanded them down then polished them up - looked brand new

That'll save some pennies :bunny:
