Very Nice! :)

Not sure if fitting 695 belt covers is a good idea though, as the plastic ones on my bike are cr*p. The seal around the edges is pretty bad & I kind of miss this the metal ones on my old 600. Are the standard belt covers on an S2r plastic or metal?

The standard s2r ones are exactly the same as the 695 ones but grey - although i have to say the 695 ones i ordered fit really well, certainly better than the carbon fibre ones i was going to buy, although i actually only went for them as i really like satin black - the photo's don't really do the bike justice

:) Thats looks really good Markus, like the pipes too.
I'll need to paint my headlight bracket black as well, and the chrome rim.
Now you have spare belt covers why dont you try and put a 'window' in them:) show off the whirly bits, shouldnt cost much to get the clear stuff to insert.

thats looking really really nice mate.

Love the check that follows the stripe, where dya get that from? is it a clear self adhesive with the checks on that gos over the top of the standard white?

also saw a monster in germany with the dropped bars that didnt look as good but still pretty cool, will dig out the pics when i get back from sardinia this weekend

That's a plan - not sure how to do it yet, but a few glasses of whiskey tonight ought to get the creative juices flowing....

I had the check airbrushed on when i had all the number board painted on and the body work re-laquered. I'm actually in two minds about it - I'm thinking of putting a post up to swap the tank and tail for some black or grey versions....undecided as yet
