As you all know, my M900ie Dark went to live with Scrapps some three months ago.
http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/showthread.php?t=21583

The plan was that I would manage with the scooter for commuting to work, and borrow Susan's TDM for weekend playing, but...
To cut a long story short, I'm about to get another bike :yoparty: . This will replace the scoot as my daily commuter, but still be fun on Kent's congested roads, and be big enough to keep up with the TDM.
(If anybody needs a run-about, the Scooter is up for sale)

The bike in question is not a Ducati, but it is Italian  . For a long time I was seriously considering getting a Yamaha MT-03, but after a serious look around decided to go another way. I'm not going to say what it is yet, but a few clues are in order - just to get you wondering.

Italian
New Bike (good old 0% Finance )
Brembo Brakes
Underseat exhausts

Unfortunately I won't have it for the Donut Run tomorow:( , but I will have it for 1st Sunday in July and for the Camber Sands run .

See you soon
Miles

I always pay attention, but not to what I should be doing most of the time!
That looks good in silver, should be a fun commuter!

Looks interesting Milesb.

It also looks like quite an upright riding position.... can your shoulders take the strain?

Nice looking bike - although for some reason I prefer the orange/gold version?

Hope spares situation has improved of late. I know several Aprilla owners that were less than impressed with support & customer service provided by the factory.

Nice bike. I would have guessed a Shiver http://www.apriliashiver.com/

Like the looks and its a Twin also the Triumph 675 triple thingy.
Maybe its todays two dead bike problems thats making me restless?

The upright riding position is part of the plan... and of course my 'Hero issue' shoulders will cope - after all it'll only do 100mph, how bad can it be;)

Gold loks a bit to 'chavvy/blingy/:ymca:' to me, but each to their own.

A question I did ask... the Pegaso (in various forms) has been around longer than the Monster, so the spares situation is generally pretty sorted. It seems that Aprilia are much better following the Piaggio take over. The engine is a Yamaha (Minarelli) so is pretty sorted, and the whole thing is very nicely put together.
