hypothetically..................
if one were thinking of swapping their Monster for a Hypermotard which one would they choose?

Would you go for all the bling, fancy brakes and Ohlins shocks of the 1100S, or would you just get the standard 1100 and not worry about the extras?

without a doubt i would go for the 1100s, If i got the 1100 i would only
regret it later.

I'm with El Presidente on this one, Forged wheels, Ohlins shock, monoblock calipers and uprated forks plus a load of cardboard fibre for £1500 is a bargain to anyone (except Banshee apparently).

Thought about that when I saw one in CMW today - Then I thought what will the new Monster be like? Ahhhggg I can't decide what to do!!!

But if I did it would be the S because it would cost too much to upgrade later - which I would want to do sooner or later - because you can

So you are really keen on it then!! ;)

Go for the S burd, you know it makes sense - let us know how the test ride goes - and good to see you today:)

Yes - if the test ride goes ok I think I'll be going for it - not that I need an 1100cc engine the speed I go!
It's just good that my weight makes the bike sag enough to get one foot on the ground, it's a great excuse to keep eating the pies:mand:

I think you're right CK - a 695 or 800 on a bike a couple of inches shorter would be a great idea.

HI Anne,

I've ordered the "S" for me it was a no brainer. You can't buy those bits for the difference.

I guess I will have to see how it rides; if I can get a foot on the floor and how much money I can scrape together - I can't imagine I will be able to afford the S and some termis - so it's standard with termis or S without.:worried:

 I wonder how much I could raise if I sell the children and the dogs:chuckle:
