They are on ebay for 260 euros which is about as cheap as I've seen.

well these from america are £150 ish with shipping.

I was a bit put off by the ones from the states as the dealer I found explicitly stated 'no returns'. There is also a message on the dynojet site warning that they will not honour the warranty for units that are exported by dealers outside the USA. So if you get a faulty one then you're stuck as far as I can see. You've also got the uncertainty of taxes and charges here.

I think that buying within the EU is a bit safer even if it may end up costing a bit more.

Anyone bought one direct from the USA?
