I'll be at work for a lot of the day so you lot will have a big head-start on me. I'll probably go straig from the office late afternoon, maybe with others maybe on my own, depends on timings.
Keep the bar warm will you.

I would pref to start 10:30/11 ish and take a scenic route, maybe stop for pub lunch, but not fussed if people want to set off later. I def dont want to just sit on motorways. the ride up is all part of the weekend and if weather good should be enjoyed.:D

Hi Kentities...

The Surrey Sussex contingent will be meeting at Reigate Hill cafe (just off J8 of the M25 - I think some of you have been there before) at 11am for our usual jaunt up to the Mill...

We usually go the nice way via Windsor, Henley and stop for lunch at Fox's Diner at Wallingford about 1pm, before heading up to the Mill cross country - Whitney, Stow on the Wold etc.

You are more than welcome to join the merry throng!

Think we met 10.30 at the Esso garage on J1A of the M25 last year?

Happy to do the same again on Friday (booked day off) but may stick to M-ways M25/M40. Last time I tried to go scenic on trike I got stuck in traffic near Oxford

Hi Gary - if you're staying on the motorway, you could always snick off at J6 of the M40 and take the B4009 to Benson, then up to Fox's and meet for lunch? Then either head back to the M40 up the A34, or take the A44 to Evesham etc.?

Hi Albie
I am up for GT's route. Last year's route was very good so I don't mind doing it again. I also don't mind meeting up with JMo. You know me, I am easy going and will go with the flow.

If we leave the Esso garage on Princes Road at 10.30 we should make the 1pm meet at Fox's. Just depends on traffic on the bottom stretch of the M25?

At the moment it looks like Me, Albie & Caroline, Alan C, Gully & Scrapps - any other takers from the Kent area?

Just got home from a 250mile ride today - on the back of the 600miles I did last weekend on the trike. Jeezuswept I'm knackered - be glad to get to the mill to chill.

Mind you today's ride did include a thrash on a surprisingly traffic free A272 so it woz worth it. One of "those" rides when everthing just slots into place - some of the overtakes we were banging in were sweet :mand:

Weather forecast for Friday says rain in the Arrow Mill area from 3pm

http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/dayforecast.asp?zipcode=B49%205NL%20&day=2

So.... I'm going to head straight up to the mill and give the Fox's meet a miss

I'll go direct (M40) and get to the mill early before rain hits. Have a tent to put up for Albie & Caroline when I get there, and would rather be in the bar than frigging around with tents in the rain. If some of the Kenties want to hook up with Jmo & gang at Fox's feel free, but can you let me know if you're still planning to meet me at 10.30 at the Esso garage?
