what size are my S2R mirrors?

Been looking around and emailing random companys in Germany etc (as you do) asking them how much for the lovely mirrors im looking at on the website and will they fit my S2R,

Then they go and get hugely technical on me by asking the following:

'M10 or M8? Left or Right-handed thread?'

Im pretty sure thats not German but it may aswell be to me...... help please ?????:hail: :hail:

Im after the size of the threads, are the an M10 or M8? and im only asking as thats what im being asked by the guy with the mirrors

There is definitely one LH thread and one RH thread, but I'm not sure of the size.

I have a pair of DP black teardrops in my garage as I've just changed to bar ends,if your after that kind of thing.

Just the relatively cheap Motrax ones(£30),I wanted to find out if I got on with them before spending about £70 on the funky ones.
They aren't bad but were a pig to fit as the fittings were either too big to go in the barend or too small to engage and tighten properly,I used a bit of garden hose to get it to fit....which you cant see BTW.

Current Monster mirrors are certainly 10mm thread (that's M10), and as Singletrack says, one side is a left handed (reversed) thread... however, if you want to buy a pair of mirrors that both have right handed threads, you can buy another right handed o/e brembo mirror bracket/lever clamp for around a fiver from any Ducati dealer...
