shoved the 69er over in the middle of the night. I was on the end of a long bike bay next to some car bays and evidently the nearest car could not be ar sed to look where he was going.

Damage to:

Front brake lever
Rear brake lever
Exhaust collar
Fuel tank latch - the impact of the fuel tank on the ground must have bent it
Pillion footrest

Planned to attach a pair of crash bungs this Saturday - 4 days too late!

It could have been worse - if I'd caught him doing it he would have received a firm clout from the South African half of me.

 Bastids... Thats another reason I hate using motorcycle bays. If it's not the scooters parking all over your bike, it's the idiots in the tin boxes who don't see the parked bikes!!

Same happened here a few weeks back. My mates RSV Factory and my dear old Nessie were left outside the pub, while we enjoyed a beverage in a public house in Walton on Thames' lovely High Street. The bikes parked next to each other, and as the car disappeared that was parked next to our bikes, they were left all alone.....

Until a dozy blonde woman and her rather stupid boyfriend parked their tin box next to the bikes. Our beverage was finished and we were chating about the nights fun ride back from the Ace Cafe Italian meeting and then we heard the 6 p***ed blokes by the window shout... "Look at those bikes!" As I looked up, I saw £10,000 worth a Aprilia going on the sideway march towards a rather sorry looking Ducati. CRUNCH!!! The RSV handle bars went straight through the scaffolding frame on the Monster and got wedge. The side stand on my bike just decided to take the weight of two bikes (luckily), before the car started its next assault to finish off my mates bike. We got outside, with the driver saying "I didn't see the bikes!" Hmmmm A big orange and silver bike, and a rather big (but not as lardy) red bike, next to a space you parked in, after we had bought our drinks.... LIAR!!!!

Outcome, luckily no damage to the Monster, just a small scratch on the tank from the RSVs screen. RSVR damage, well totalling up the quotes £1800.

The accident witness form was a joy to fill in. Stating the Highway Code, Section 176-179... Blah blah blah...

Awaiting beer funds.. I mean repair funds soon ;)

I've booked the Monster in to Rosso Corse for next Tuesday. If you want, I can pick up a new tank latch from them and drop it round (if you can wait till Tuesday). I think they are £8 and the RC boys always keep them in stock

Cheers for the offer - will probably just add it to the service items for Saturday though (booked in for 1st service at Ducati Aylesbury).

Welcome to join me and a Guzzi mate on the way there early Saturday and back (the long way back ;-) )

:look:

We were moored in the Victoria and Albert Marina next to the Cape Grace Hotel.

Ever go to the Nightclub on the top (36th or whatever it is) floor of the ABSA bank in the city centre? Now *that* was a view :P

Nope, but have seen a pretty awesome view of the waterfront from the passenger seat of my dad's microlight - didn't come with a cocktail though :spin:

At least there isn't a queue for the bogs, and the meal is cr*p

This was my view from the office every morning :P

Knocks you sick, doesn't it.
Sorry.
It happened on my Max. I was at my archery club, not a member anymore, no time. Anyway, we shared the grounds with the Rochdale rugby club and one of the ham fisted so an' so's decided he wanted my parking space, decided to move the bike and found it a tad heavier that he had expected...over it went. No one let me know. They just let me find it there bleeding acid all over the chrome. Nice. I hope he was suitably embarrassed, big strong rugby type an all that. I hate it when numpties think of bikes as toys. They are only toys when the rightful owner is having some fun on them.

Certainly does. Walked around the corner and from the profile of the bike tyres I could see one was down - got there and saw it was mine and checked for bleeding of any sort - luckily none, but I was ready to get violent anyway.

Its a Nautors Swan 651 (72") German Frers design.

See how lovely the teak decks are? It took me 2 days straight 8am-8pm on my knees to shave off the excess caulking with a plane blade and another week 8am-8pm in 40 degrees with a sanding pad and paper to finish it all off.

*Hobbles off for a fag*

Lol yeah thats what I meant. I know what I'm talking about...:look:

That may be why they hired me...

"When we ask him to sand the decks, lets write a proposal..He'll think its only 72 inches long..When he sees how much we'll pay him for that he'll think he's onto a winner...tee hee hee"
