I'm planning to lop the top of the air box at the weekend, anyone got pictures of the best way to do it? I've heard you should leave the high bits at the front, but what about the small air duct?

I get the idea, just wasn't sure about the front half i.e. leaving a lip to keep rain out and whether the current air intake should stay.

Mine is fully sawn off, and I've never had trouble with the rain, and only once had trouble from a hose in 30k miles.

I believe this is a proper DP one for a 620ie and even that's just sawn off.

Which reminds me I've got a spare open airbox and newish filter in the garage if someone wants to make me an offer.
At least Zimbo got my beard in his photo.

just don't get too close or the beard will get sucked in!

Am surprised the DP one is so open - def going for the full chop now.
