Hi Folks
does anybody know if the ride height adjuster of a 749-999 will replace the fixed length ride height adjuster on a M620ie?
Or is there another alternative rather than buying a proper Monster one at a high price from Ducati.

Yea it "should" fit from what I have read up on just make sure you measure both to insure the new one is actually longer. I have a 999 adjuster waiting to fit on to my 695. Also make sure there is at least 5mm inside the adjuster on both ends.

Check the price for the same parts for an S2R. I believe they're far cheaper than the 620 parts for some reason.

As slob says, the rose joints are significantly cheaper if you order S2R ones (I did), however, they are still around £35 each...

Fortunately it's only the rose joints and nuts etc that cost the most, the connecting rod itself is only around £20 if I recall - so if the 999 rod isn't as long (and it may not be, depending on the suspension travel/ratio when compared to the Monny), you could always just order the S2R rod and use the (presumably Ebay) 999 ball joints - that is if they are the same, I presume they are, but it would be best to cross-check at a dealer with their parts computer...

I have just fitted a 999 adjustable link to my wifes 2005 620ie monster but they are not the same length, the standard 620ie link is 268mm center to center and the 999 link is 276mm with both rosejoints screwed in fully. I removed 10mm from each end of the link as the wifes a bit of a pigmy and needs the bike as low as can be. The shortest you can get the link is 256mm however if you tap the threads deeper you could get it even shorter if required however remember one thread is left hand thread.
