Sunday 8th April - Box Hill Mega Meet

Hi y'all,

After the success of the Goodwood meet, I think we should try and get more Sussexites out for the Ducati Mega Meet this Sunday.

I'm aiming to get there around 10.30, so if anyone wants to meet up for the ride in, just put your names down.

The meet point will be Bury Hill, or the Washington roundabout on the A24 (or possibly both if enough takers). So stick your names up, and I'll arrange the timings, etc.

Me too. Either place is fine but wont the triumph place be put out by monsters parking in their car park at Washington? :cool:

They shouldn't be - I've never even seen any Triumphs parked outside, so they should be grateful for the attention!

It is a triumph bike shop there isn't it? I always go passed too quick to have a good look and never many bikes parked outside, unlike Ducati shops which are always busy!

Yes, it is a Triumph dealership, next to the Renault one. All brand new. It's definitely open, but like I said, I've never seen any bikes parked outside, and I pass it twice a day!

Might have to go past it very loudly on the monster tomorrow.....

I'll be there if its nice, but I might go the a29 ockley way cos its a bit more wiggley and interesting :)

Mel, wouldn't it make more sense for you to go with the Hants DSC lot? Not that I'm trying to get rid of you.....

OK, the meet point is the new Triumph Dealership at the junction of the A24 and A283 at Washington. If anyone doesn't know where that is, just take the A24, turn towards Steyning on the A283 at the big roundabout, and the Triumph dealer is next to the massive new Renault garage, just off the roundabout - you can't miss it.

Meet there for a 9.30 departure for a scenic ride up to Box Hill.

I'll get to adversane at 9.45 (how efficient does that sound) and head along the 2133 (if thats the way your going) untill i bump into you...well not literally :chuckle:
Are you going up the 24 or headin towards storrinton to get to 2133 ?

I think we'll head up the A24 to Ashington, then along the B2133 from there.
