Just booked my bike in for a 10.000Km service at a Ducati specialist (Ducati Zaltbommel in NL). Will be around 400-450 euro's voor the service and about 330 euro's to fit a set of Pilot Powers. I think that's around 500 squids.
How does that compare to a 10000K (6000 mile) service over there?
The dealer that I bought the bike from is asking 500 euro's (320 squids) to fit a set of Pilot Powers. I can buy 2 brand new sets for that money and pay someone 30 euros to fit them. I politely declined the offer.

£300 for a dealer 6Kmile service and £200 for a set of Michelins, fitted sounds about right at London prices. You'd probably get the servicing a bit cheaper away from the big smoke.

Er.. Slob... he said NL and his profile says Amsterdam... think he's far enough away from the big Smoke!

er.. Darry I know that, he's after a comparison with UK prices and as soon as I say 'that's reasonable' someone from out in the sticks comes along and says 'blimey! I got change from a fiver when I had mine done'.
