Am looking to buy a monster for fun riding. Hopefully with enough bhp not to dissapoint if pilion on board at road legal speeds.
Am thinking of a monster 750 i.e. (which is a better model than the 750 dark?)
Am only 5'4 and 65kg myself so not looking to go too large.
Looking to spend approx 2k, poss a bit more if I can persuade my brother to go halfs. So 2nd hand but not too old / too many miles
Any advice on what to buy, where to buy where to test drive, what insurance might cost etc.
I am in London (right at the south end of the M11)

Any advice gratefully recieved.

A 750 would be a sweet buy as it's been considered one of the best monsters in its day - more grunt than a 600 and not as lumpy as a 900. However, for 2k you can probably pick up a 900 as there's more about and they really do have a big grin factor
