Right then, despite some thread hijacking by certain oversized individuals....

Meet at Winchester Services just off the M3 at the Shell Station opposite Tesco at Winnall at around 10.30ish with a quick scoot over to the Hill Top Cafe for around 11.00-11.30 ish

Weather dependant of course, I've just cleaned my bike...

Right, well it may give me a chance to give the bike a further run again, and apart from cutting out in the cold this morning, the run home was okay! So hopefully I'll make it but don't hold your breath anyone!

Are you meeting at the Meon Hut pub; in the layby; at the garage or at the entrance to the old Little Thief?

I may meet you there, or I may go straight to Winchester - depending on whether I get up in time :D

Pedro
27-02-2007, 12:07 PM

Me too Scrumpster, nipped up to Rapido and got flipping soaked leaving Winchester. Only rained for about a mile but it was proper big rain drops.

How about we do this in a couple of weeks time?

scrumpster

Well, it is wet and windy in Hungerford today.. which is a shame, I was looking forward to a run down to Winchester and beyond to meet up with some of you. I guess the weather men got it right this time. Shame the weather today is not as it was this time yesterday. Maybe next month.. which will be April 1st, won't it...?

Real shame, it was nice too at 8, i got me bike out, got me gear on wet ones too incase of rain, it started, I thought nah it's fine a bit of rain don't hurt. Then it peed down big time, so after half hour of waiting AGAIN thinking it might die down again, I put the bike back away sigh! made me in a foul mood all day cos i didn't go on it!

I went to Goodwood Breakfast club in the car and walked round there in the rain, still loads of Aston Martins, Austin Healey's and mini's, so was good but I got there late and most of them had already gone!

If the next ride out is April 1st, I'll have to meet you later, as the meeting I attend on the 2nd sunday has been brought foward cos of easter, so let me know where you're going and i'll zoom up at 11.30 when I'm finished...
