Hi All

Getting ready to take my DAS in March so thought I'd pop in & say Hello.
I will be looking at getting a Monster 600 sometime in the near future so if anyone has one or know's anyone selling, please let me know.
I live in Kent & work in London so will be looking around those areas.

Can somebody point me towards some info on the history of the 600's please?
I am looking for changes over the years if anyone knows of such info.
Regards.

Stuart

Hi there Stuart. welcome to the forum and good luck for the DAS.
I live in South East London myself and often meet up with the Kent Monster owners, all of which are very helpful and nice. And if you look under the Kent section you'll see that Lady-Bob has a whole host of things lined up for the year. I only passed my DAS back in September so I'm looking forward to some proper sunshine.

As for bike history there's bound to be someone along very soon with some info, but I was reading this months Ride magazine (Dated April by the look of it) which gives a very basic Monster history on page 112.
Happy driving.

I've just noticed under the 'For Sale' thread, that Steve748 is selling a 600, if you want to have a look at that.

If your set on a 600 go for a very late one as they have better electrics and lighter clutch. If you can afford a bit more go for the 620 - better all round bike than the 600 and has fuel injection too.

Welcome anyway.
600s are lovely bikes to start on. I am on my 2nd though am looking to get an S2R.
Buy what your purse can afford. Newer is often nicer, but older bikes like cats have more "character".

We are not all heading for the ^. But if you hang around long enough you may head that way.
