GOODWOOD ANNOUNCES THE 2007 BREAKFAST CLUB DATES AND THEMES

The Goodwood Breakfast Club was launched to huge acclaim last year with a total of seven meetings, every one themed, and each attracting a strong 'petrol head' audience. For 2007, the monthly Breakfast Club meetings will be enhanced with new set of themes, as detailed below, plus other initiatives designed to appeal to the real motoring enthusiast. In addition to some great cars, motor cycles will also be encouraged to attend, with a dedicated motor bike day being held in July for the first time. Further enhancements will include marque specialists on hand, selling quality parts and accessories that reflect each monthly theme, as well as the opportunity to take a flight in the historic Goodwood Harvard aircraft.

The Breakfast Club offers the chance for enthusiasts to enjoy a fun Sunday morning drive on the exceptional roads that lead to Goodwood, admire some interesting vehicles, and savour a delicious and hearty home-reared Goodwood organic breakfast, served at the Vitra Café, based at the Motor Circuit's iconic Old Clock Tower

A revised and improved website, dedicated to the Goodwood Breakfast Club (www.Goodwood.co.uk/breakfastclub) will shortly be available on-line, highlighting each monthly theme, as well as a detailed listing of the complete, delicious organic breakfast menu available.

The final Breakfast Club for 2007 will include a special end-of-season feature, 'Cooked in 60 seconds' inspired by the cult film 'Gone in 60 seconds.' The aim of this October meeting is to attract as many of the 50 cars that Nick Cage, the star of the movie, stole to order in the film. One prime example of each of these cars will be put on display outside of the Vitra Café. A full list of all 50 eligible cars will be detailed in the revised Goodwood Breakfast Club website, available shortly. Suitable cars include an Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 and 1953 Chevrolet Corvette. Owners of suitable cars can register their vehicle with Goodwood using a dedicated e-mail; cooked@goodwood.co.uk.

All 2007 Goodwood Breakfast Club meetings will be staged from 8:30hrs to midday on the first Sunday of every month, from March to October (excluding September).
