Hi all, how's this for luck? Sold my monster engine today  which has been in the shed for two years, all was going well and I was very pleased until 10 minutes later our washing machine decided to blow up.

For once in my life I had some money in my pocket (well for 10 minutes anyway) - hey ho.

Put the new washer to profitable use, take in washing and save proceeds towards new bike

It looks like there is a light at the end of the tunnel:hail:
Debs checked paperwork and it looks like the thing is insured so if they cannot fix it, we get a new one. Saved me an ordeal of going to Comet and being served by a spotty 16 year old who thinks he is the bees knees when it comes to washer dryers.

I am still not £150.00 better off though, Debs has put it the joint savings account (the one in her name)

Gully (still £150.00 shy) & Debbie (£150.00 better off).
