Hi All you Sussexites and Honorary Sussexites,

After the success of last year's dinner, I thought we should do it again. Venue TBC (possibly The Cricketer's at Wisborough Green). I thinking of the weekend of 16/17 December, so please vote above for your favourite date. It will be at lunchtime.

Please also post to say who's interested in coming, so I can get an idea of numbers. Members very welcome from other counties, and other halves as well. The more the merrier!

Cheers

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Either date is good for me (as an Honorary Sussexite). I shall be on my own as Mrs HT will be pursuing equestrian things with out a doubt.

I can make either day, but if Mel is working on Saturday then why don't we go for sunday lunch? If we aim to meet at midday, then those who have travelled a distance can still get away in good time before it gets dark?

Oh Sazza, spoke to him last night to tell him we're going to go xmas dinner with you guys first then go to madness concert, he said oh thought we were going to make a day of it in bournemouth, so he sort of got his heart set on that, so i guess we won't be coming and now i feel awful thinking that you might be doing sunday for people who work saturday's like me, and now i won't be able come.

I'll see how he feels or whether that's in stone, cos i gotta admit it might be tight time wise, what time would be thinking of having lunch, and we got get back change put bikes away and leave for Bournemouth? Mmmm what you reckon? be shame to miss it and have all you guys together, was a right laugh last time!

Hi Mel,

We'll probably aim to eat about 1.00, so you could be away by 2pm if you need to.

Don't worry about us having it on the Sunday just for you. The only vote for Saturday is from a Midlands imposter anyway! (Julie who?)

I hope you can come, but don't worry if it's going to be too tight for you.

Numbers are looking good!

We've got room for up to 26, so keep them coming. There's a few of the usual suspects missing at the moment.

The pub have offered us their Xmas menu at £21.95 for 3 courses. If peeps want the normal menu, then this is possible, but you might have a bit of a wait as they'll be very busy.

I've attached the Xmas menu for peoples' perusal. I will be taking orders closer to the time.

Hi all,
Just bringing this back up to see if we can get a few more takers.

I'd like to have firm commitments from everyone by next weekend really, as the pub have reserved a large number of spaces for us.

So come on you Sussex stragglers! I'm sure there are a few more out there who are up for a good sunday feed!

Hubby MAY be able to come, but I am not sure yet.
If he can't come can I bring my 15 year old daughter?

Hi, No, shame but thanks anyway, he sticking to 'I thought we were going to Bournemouth so it's not a rush before the concert and doing last minute things for Xmas'. So please delete me from your list....

Thanks anyway hope you all have great time, and food is good, and don't forget to post some piccies up :)

I'll ask Susan if she's OK - I think the answer will be yes, so that could be 2 more - I'll post tonight/tomorrow to confirm.

Is the venue confimed?

Sorry Sazza - a change of plan.
I have to do the Christmas present run to my family in Ipswich that weekend. It's the only chance we will get.

Sorry to mess you around. Please will you take me off the list?
Thanks Anne x
