I have a old M900 and a not so old S4R, but I find the 900 much more comfortable mainly due to the handlebars being slightly higher. Does anyone know if I can get different bars for my S4R ? As you probably know the bars are made of extruded aluminium so is it possible to replace them ?

You could try talking to Magura who make the bars to see if they do the Fat Bars in a different rise but it may just be easier to get some spacers under the clamps to lift them a little.

Thanks for the suggestion, I don't think risers would be any use to me as its also the width of the bars and that they are so far forward:bucks:

try a visit to a motorcross shop, most modern MX bikes use the thicker 'fatbar'
Measure up the spacing between the clamps as a lot of MX bars have a wider clamp area and this may interfere with the tops of your fork adjusters
