View Full Version : BIG left margin on site.

Hi,

Is it me or does anyone else suffer with a big left margin on this site? I only get it if I log on and then I have about 15cm of white space on the left hand side of the web page. I've tried deleting cookies but that doesn't make any difference.

This is with IE 6 on Windows XP.

Any thoughts?

Regards

This has come up before and i think the last time it did the powers that be were looking into it.

I get the same thing but strangely enough only on my laptop, at work and on my home desk top its fine, they all run the same software and settings etc as far as i can see

Sorry this doesn't help the problem, but at least you know you're not alone :mand:

Cheers,

Shandy

I was having the same problems intermittently using BT Yahoo, but since I downloaded Mozilla Firefox I haven't had any probs and everything is so much faster. Give it a go, I sure you'll see a difference.

Ah well... At least you won't get bored.

Just be safe in the knowledge it did work for me, so far I have found IE7 to be stable and easier to use than IE6 once you realise where everthing is.

Yeah as long as its better for everything else i suppose.

The really wierd part is its just this site, no others just this one

Hopefully someone will eventually come up with the deffinative reason, untill then, well :banghead: :banghead:

As I said earlier, I was having the same problem, but I downloaded Mozilla Firefox And the problem has gone. The best thing is that I keep my old homepage and everything is a lot faster.

No prob's, I know what you mean about learning to drive it though :mand:
but it is so much better than MSN. Just hope I can figure everything out, cos I'm still a bit of Neanderthal when it comes to PC's :dunce:
