Hi Guys

Anyone out there had to same letter I have had advising that the oil pump cover bolts need attention, these apparently are within the side cases!

Reply back if you have and what was the work the dealer had to do.

Hi - I got mine in April, and haven't hadany letter, having said that it had its first service june so maybe they did what was needed

Not had the letter, not had first service yet either. Will ask when I book it in.

Had mine for around four months now and put 2500 miles on it so far. No letter as yet and no mention of any such problems by my dealer.

Had my letter on 9th August- got the work done the next day as first service was due. It took several hours to do the job apparently.

Maybe only certain batches of bikes were affected but I would ring Ducati UK if you have not had a letter.

Hi Guy

My frame number ends 090720 is your number close to this as there may be just a batch of engines , my dealer says they have had some 999's and 748's in the past effected, I will have my first service soon when they will sort mine out.

Mine ends 087592 and was bought in June.

according to this site I cant find any official recall

dosent mean that its up to date or that Ducati havent decided to keep it in house

I think they are keeping this one in house the letter stated they valued my ownership and they had identified a problem with my frame number namly the oil pump cover bolts, exactly what is wrong with them I do not know, I asked the same question on the USA site and only one other operson has come back to me to date and that guy in the far east with his frame number 200 diff from mine.

They say it's certain testastretta engines only? but I have no further info, the dealer knew what I was taking about when I asked about it and said they would need it all day.

Purchased the bike 1st July
