Up for grabs - my brembo GP racing billet calipers (early 40mm mounts) that have adorned my 888 for some time.

The good news - Thye are rare early period (silvery champagne colour) GP (2's I think) with (I am told) titanium pistons. These are the calipers that were fitted to the supermono etc. Weigh nothing !

The bad news - when bleeing the radial mc back on to my 888, my dad tightened up the bleed nipples too much which has caused hairline fractures around the bleed nipple area and as a result they weep fluid.

I spoke to a main brembo agent (no names) who said this was a common fault as the bleed nipples only needed to be tightened slightly. He had heard of people repairing them with metal fix or araldite and a friend mentioned that they could probably even be repaired by welding..BUT THIS WOULD BE DOWN TO THE BUYER.

Even if they werent used on a road/race bike, they would be a lovely peice of bling for a display bike - or ideal for spares.

These calipers are around £1300 new (but you cant get this colour anymore).

First £150 can have them
