Insuring 2 bikes

As i'm in the process of buying another bike.I was wondering whether before I phone up Devitts if anyone could advise me what deals are about for 2 bike insurance. Obviously full comp. The other bike will be only for dry runs and special occasions as it is the bike I always promised myself to keep forever sort of thing.My monnie is not going anywhere as Caroline wouldnt allow it. The other bike is mine as soon as money comes through from house sale.Getting very impatient now. Its a mint 97 R 748.Its a biposto with seat trimmed in red/white leather to blend with race number decals.Carolines not keen on pillion on it.Feeling too high up.

Ducati Insurance did both my Hornet 900 and Monster S2R1000 on a single policy, I have even claimed total loss on both bikes on that policy within 4 months of taking it out. Even better I have my replacement S2R1000 on it as well.

ebike were particularly cheap for me. I'm 27 with no NCB and no experience, town centre location and bike is kept in the car park. Oh and I've got 9 points! Most companies wanted £800-£1000 for my 750ie, but they wanted £400. Not unhappy with that...

Yes I am with Ducati Insurance with my Monster and the DRZ 400. Cheap as chips too.

I have just tried ducati insurance and got all the way to where did you here about us and wont let me enter a box .b.llox its shi te. and e bike wont as I dont own the other bike yet and I want a quote. I will when its mine for gods sake. Bloody online.:grump: :grump:

I pay just over £200 inc protected no claims (motorcycle direct), 3 bikes, S4, CB500 and CB125, I can also ride any bike not belonging to me - if you need this be careful with cheap quotes as it may not be included!

It's at my Dad's mates house at the moment, (it's a long story I won't bore you with on the forum).

As for Ducati Insurance, I rang them, there were very friendly and I've had excellent service from them too. I agree with ShaunS4, read the small print.

Ooooh nice Albie. Ducati Insurance, Monster + about an extra £30 a year for A.N.Other. Try ringing them in the morning, better than trying to argue with a web form.

I agree, they are very helpful, even if I am now on first name terms with the claims handler now...

The only problem I had was when abroad but that was due to some idiot at Equity Red Star who couldn't find my policy details.

I think i remember reading somewhere that DSC membership may gain you a bit more discount with Ducati Insurance its worth trying to blag it anyway. I agree with slob its better to speak to a person than the computer.

I can do a 916, a Monkeybike and a Monster in Swinedon for £214 with that Nash woman. Just need the 916...
