Evening all,

I have a clutch issue and wonder if anyone can shed some light on it.

For the last couple of months every so often I start getting a lot of play in the lever, I then top up the clutch fluid and it sorts it, however I have to do this every couple of days now or the play becomes so bad that I can’t change gear. I thought to bleed the system today but now I can’t get any pressure in the system at all the clutch is now useless. I have been trying to bleed it for hours. Enough fluid is going through the tube that I have to top of the reservoir a few times but there is still not enough pressure for the clutch to work. I have checked the cable for leaks but can't find any, I'm now wondering that my master cylinder is knackered.

If anyone has any advice I will be most grateful.

Cheers.

If you're adding fluid and it's still dropping then I would check out the slave cylinder end - in the side case.

New clutch seal kit is about a tenner from Ducati and very easy to fit.
