Did mine last weekend - DO IT!
I know what you mean though, removed all the gubbins, taped and marked the cuts, placed the hacksaw on line, paused and went and had a fag!
Felt very liberated when complete though.

gowaaaaaan its not that bigger deal honest, i cut a lot more than the tea tray off my last one and its the first cut that is nerve racking, after that its just fun. And you get a better looking bike because of it !!!
